Praying for a Breakthrough (Part 1)

To a lot of christians, "breakthrough" is when their prayer is answered by God in the affirmative. It is always important to remember that God answers our prayers in many ways. Basically, God may say "yes", "no" or not yet to whatever we've been praying for. Breakthrough is not only when God says yes to our prayers. Breakthrough is when we overcome something truly difficult, and in that process, we are aligned to God's plans, will and purposes. When King Nebuchadnezzar threatened to throw Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in a blazing furnace because of their defiance to his order to bow down and worship the image that he had made, they told King Nebuchadnezzar that even God does not deliver them from the fiery furnace (Daniel 3:18), they will not serve his gods nor worship the image of gold he set up. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego completely surrendered to the plans, will and purposes of God. Now, that is a real breakthrough
